Gingham

Olen onnistunut välttämään aleostoksia varsin tehokkaasti, sillä ostoslistallani ei oikeastaan ole ollut mitään. Paitsi mustavalkoruudullinen paita. Jollaista ei ole löytynyt koko kaupungista edes normaalihintaan. Nettikaupoista löysin Isabel Marant Ètoile'n Ramon-paidan jo alkusyksystä, mutta kova hinta esti klikkaamasta sitä ostoskoriin, mutta kun tänään totesin sen saaneen kylkeensä alehinnan, klikkasin viimeisen kokoiseni paidan ostoskoriin. Fingers crossed, että se on täydellinen. 

Meillä on töissä niin kylmä, että ensimmäiseksi uusi paita pitää pukea neuleen alle. Pinterestin inspiroimana aloitan pukemalla sen - siis edellyttäen, että paita täyttää kaikki sille asettamani kriteerit - ainakin punaisen ja mustan neuleen alle. Uskon sen näyttävän skarpilta myös Rag & Bonen bleiserin alla.

JK. Ei pidä nuolaista ennen kuin tipahtaa. Sähköpostiin oli kilahtanut viesti samalla hetkellä kun julkaisin jutun: "We have been informed by our partner boutique Roman Prat (Caen, France) that the item you ordered is out of stock. We’re really sorry for the inconvenience." Elämä on. Etsintä jatkuu.

I've had a bit of an obsession about a black and white gingham shirt since last summer. I've been looking for a perfect shirt since then but it's been nearly mission impossible. Not one in any store in Helsinki. Just one that seemed promising in online stores. Today - finally - it was on sale. Fingers crossed that it'll meet my very high criteria! Again, Pinterest provides a lot of inspiration how to wear it with knits. Namely, it's freezing cold in Finland now - some -20 degrees Celsius today.

PS. Don't count your chickens before they're hatched. As I published the post I got an email that said: "We have been informed by our partner boutique Roman Prat (Caen, France) that the item you ordered is out of stock. We’re really sorry for the inconvenience." I'm sorry, too. But the search continues.
